Roadmap for Kaiju Noir


It's been a week now since the Kaiju Noir demo was released and we're back working on the full game.

First off we want to thank you for all your amazing support so far, it's been overwhelming for a newbie gamedev to have such positivity on their first big project. If you liked the game please remember to give it a rating & maybe share what you enjoyed & what you are hoping to see in the full game.

As such we wanted to let y'all know what the roadmap is for Kaiju Noir. We're planning to release next year (when it's ready), here's what is currently planned:

* 10-13 Chapter story (currently working on Chapter 5 & have the next few mapped out).
* Branching narrative based on choices. Every choice you make is going to affect the story & outcome in some way. It's not all about your choice of soda.
* Full soundtrack for all your mood music needs.
* Sub-plots! A good mystery is plots within plots. Raxx has a job for you, let's hope it doesn't conflict with your case.
* 4-6 new kaiju. Every giant monster is unique, both in story & aesthetic. One thing they have in common is big stompy energy.
* Art! New backgrounds, chapter screens, world map, the works!

Kaiju Noir is a long term project for us. We're hoping these characters will be around for future instalments and maybe some side projects.

We might even make that monster dating game everyone keeps asking for.
